The Ostrovki Manor was one of the main residences of the famous Milyukov family. The Milyukovs were an old Russian noble family whose members held high positions and participated in the nation’s politics for generations. The most famous member of the Milyukov family was Pavel Milyukov, the chairman of the Constitutional Democratic Party and a leading supporter of social-liberalism within Russia.
